Puneet has recently completed Masters in Project Management from The University of Sydney. In addition, Puneet has a Certificate in General Management from IIM Calcutta, India and BE (Electronics) from Nagpur University in India. Puneet also has PMP, Prince2 (practitioner), ITIL V3 (foundation) certifications.
Puneet has managed various complex programs and projects leading a team of engineers, solution architects and project manages to successfully deliver business outcome. Puneet was instrumental in setting up a 24x7 support centre and turning it into a profit centre within 18 months of its operations.
Puneet has worked with various organisations in Australia and Overseas. Puneet started his career as a Computer Engineer and later progressed to Project Manager and Operations Manager working for Vodafone, LogicaCMG, Nokia and presently working with Sydney Trains.
Puneet joined PMI Sydney Chapter as a member in 2007 and been a volunteer since 2010. He has been actively involved in chapter activities. In the five year tenure as a volunteer for chapter he has worked with Professional Development, Marketing and Partnering directors. As a volunteer he has been taking initiative and delivering results. In his current role as Associate Director Industry and Associations, Puneet has been proactively involved in negotiating and finalising agreements with other industry associations with an aim to provide benefits to chapter members.
