LETTER OF INTENT PMDoS 2020

The Project Management Institute’s Day of Service (PMDoS) is a charitable initiative bringing together established Project Management professionals and charitable organisations.  The objective of this initiative is to provide guidance and expertise free of charge to charities that would typically not be able to afford these services.

PMISC are very excited about this program.  It will provide a unique and beneficial service, which our clients will be very grateful to have available to them.  PMISC recognizes that your generosity in volunteering yourself is critical to the success of this endeavour. In this regard, your unwavering commitment is a cornerstone to the foundation of the day.

Ticking the box on the online registration form confirms that you have agreed to the following statement:
That you are declaring your intention to participate in this initiative to the best of your ability.  That you understand that as a participant you are offering my time, advice, and whichever tools you have at your disposal, free of charge to the charity or charities you are assigned to on the PMDoS.

	That you will make every effort to be available on the day of the event – 2nd November 2020.
	That you will make every effort to ensure availability for the entire duration of the day, from 9am to 5pm.
	That you will offer your services to the best of your ability.
	That you will participate prepared for the day having read any preliminary materials provided and if possible with drafts of possible solutions to present to the client.
     That you will ensure that the COVID19 health and safety guidelines are observed during the entire duration of the event.

This statement is not a legally binding contract.  Its purpose is to articulate the value and appreciation PMISC are expressing in your participation.  By ticking the acceptance box you are announcing your commitment to the event and that you can be relied upon to fulfil your promise.
