INTAKE KICKOFF meeting Content:

  • Opportunity for Mentors and Mentees to have their initial face to face meeting
  • Mentee Training by Professional Training Organisation
  • Matched to a Mentor who will share a minimum of 10hrs of mentoring

Mentee Training:

Many people embark on a mentoring relationship with little idea about how best to conduct themselves, what to ask their mentor and how to get the most they can from being in a mentoring relationship. It is important that mentees in a formal mentoring program attend a short training course to have the best chance of reward from the program. We know that without such training, two-thirds of mentor-mentee relationships are likely to end in some disappointment. This mentee training is supplied as part of the mentor program. You learn not only about the relationship you will have, but a set of tools and techniques you can use with your mentor throughout the program.

    Target Audience:

This training is targeted at Sydney Chapter members who have applied and been accepted as mentees and mentors in the Mentoring program Intake #2

Cambridge Handbook of Org Proj Mgmt cover

Organizational Project Management (OPM) is the integration of all project management-related activities throughout the organisational hierarchy or network.

OPM is the ability to organise project activities not only at the project level, but at the wider organisational level. By shaping the project systems, processes and structures, OPM has a potential to have an impact on a company’s effectiveness and its capacity to achieve competitive advantage.

Come to this interactive workshop to actively engage with the international and local authors of the recently published Cambridge Handbook of Organizational Project Management that was recently released at international conferences in Boston and Glasgow. You will emulate an agile way of discussing the merits of OPM from practice to inform theory.
