3. Great People Skills
4. Impeccable Leadership Skills
What if all of us can achieve some or even all of what they have? What if we had tools that can help any PM perform at their best? This is the event that will enable you with all the right answers.
Look forward to seeing you at the event.
Australia is investing billions of dollars almost every quarter in mega infrastructure projects. The current transport construction boom is bigger than that of the mining boom.
Project controls have successfully proved their benefit by bringing together time, cost, risk and contract management information. For large Capital Projects, Project Managers deserve a formal introduction to project controls and how best to make use of them.
I highlight project controls, bring together four major project knowledge areas and their benefit to Project Managers.
If you are a stakeholder of a Capital Project in Australia, this session is for you!
We look forward to seeing you at the event.

Who is 'Learning' in Machine Learning
You think you can beat a machine? It's hard, because they win almost always. Its a complex environment with a lot of jargon, and its easy to feel out of depth. We'll be discussing and learning what Machine Learning is and how it'll affect your role as a Project Manager.
A large part of any PM's role is to understand, analyse, iterate and execute. You often don't get to lead the glam life, because you come into work and often end up looking at data, entering data, following people up, red tape and going through basic co-ordination leaving very little time to do work that matters, and doing work that really matters.
AI can help alleviate a lot of this using the principle that any intelligent tool would - observe, learn, understand good behaviour and repeat that desirable behaviour. Understanding how this operates will help you become better at your job and by isolating mundane repeatable processes within your business, you can come up with great applications that can be pitched to your executive team to build and solve your issues. We will go through a quick breakdown of how a traditional day for a PM looks like, what are some tasks that could be automated, and how we could build a learning system.
Look forward to seeing you at the event.
Building a Change Ready Mindset
Attendees will learn that they have deep reservoirs of talent and ability lying dormant within themselves and will be shown how to access them to achieve anything they truly desire and will foster a positive mindset that others will then look to emulate.
Your Career: Hunt or Perish
With ever changing market dynamics especially for professionals, the question arises whether one should be a passive career participant or an active participant in this market. The former is what I call as the grazing approach & the latter as the hunting approach.
In the past you could graze through a multitude of jobs. If one did not crystallise today, there was always someone else tomorrow who’d be knocking on your door with another opportunity, perhaps a better one. There was no real urgency. Competition was relatively low. If you didn’t pitch yourself well for the job on hand, where was the hiring company going to go? After all, there was a shortage of talent and they were importing people by the ship load to help keep up with the skills shortage.
But that’s not the case now? Is it?
Insights on Digital Transformation - Five things they don't tell you
Digital Transformation has quickly become the norm when it comes to delivering transactions for users. Many organisations start with implementing 'new ways of working', such as Agile or even 'new ways of leading'. Then follows a long list of other issues which arise in addition to the Agile teams compiling an impressive prototype that excites internal stakeholders.
The next thing a Delivery Lead hears is 'When can we have that prototype in production for our customers?' (In some cases the expectation is in the next few weeks!!!); Agile / Scrum can't solve everything.
Drawing on his 15 years within Digital Transformations (what was previously known as e-Commerce), Ralf presents his thoughts on the five areas of Digital Transformation that people don't tend to talk about (and Agile isn't one of them ;-)
Look forward to seeing you at the event.
PMO Value Ring - Why, What & How
The PMO Value Ring is an innovative methodology developed by the PMO Global Alliance to support the creation, revision, and operation of PMOs. A group knows more than the single most experienced expert, and that’s what we got when more than 100 professionals developed the PMO Value Ring. At this moment, the PMO Value Ring is being used by more than 10,000 PMOs across more than 80 countries.
During this event, you will learn what does PMO Value Ring mean and how PMO Value Ring helps you to define, develop, deliver and measure business value.
Drawing on her 20 years industry experience as a PMO professional, Amireh will take you on a journey with PMO Value Ring and explore what you can learn from the PMO global best practices.
Look forward to seeing you at the event.
Information Security Governance Model
Information security, sometimes shortened to infosec, is the practice of protecting information by mitigating information risks. It is part of information risk management. It typically involves preventing or at least reducing the probability of unauthorized / inappropriate access, use, disclosure, disruption, deletion / destruction, corruption, modification, inspection, recording or devaluation, although it may also involve reducing the adverse impacts of incidents. Information may take any form, e.g. electronic or physical, tangible (e.g. paperwork) or intangible (e.g. knowledge). Information security's primary focus is the balanced protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data while maintaining a focus on efficient policy implementation, all without hampering organization productivity.
Below are the common mistakes around Information Security Governance.
During this event, Hein willI explain you the recommended Information Security Governance Model that he has developed based on his recent experience at two organizations.
Look forward to seeing you at the event.
