The PMI Sydney Mentoring program is offered to assist Chapter members improve their professional skills in project, program and portfolio management.
Through the Mentoring Program individual members can:
- Connect with and position themselves as experienced project management professionals,
- Share the wealth of their experience and knowledge with enthusiastic and motivated individuals,
- Contribute to the individual growth of members (mentors and mentees) and the maturity of the profession,
- Create opportunities to build and improve their professional networks and communication skills.
PMI Sydney offers two intakes per year, which generally run from February-June, and from July-December.
PMI Sydney members are invited to apply through an eblast communication and they complete their application using the PMI Sydney Mentoring portal.
The program is only open to PMI Sydney members and Mentees are required to pay a registration fee.
Registration fees are used to offset the cost of providing the specific resources and facilities used in the mentoring program and these fees are paid in addition to the normal PMI Sydney membership fee.
Note that the mentoring program is administered by PMISC volunteers who, along with the mentors, offer their time free of charge for the benefit of the Chapter members.
