Who should apply?
If you are intending to obtain the PMP® or CAPM® certification, this is an ideal course to cover all aspects of the syllabus, refresh the concepts and help prepare you to pass the exam on the first try. This course meets the eligibility requirements for the 35 hours of face-to-face project management instruction.
This course is designed for individuals who wish to obtain the CAPM/PMP certification, and wish to receive full exposure to all elements of the syllabus, get an overview of the important material combined with an overview of the exam, and practise techniques for the exam.
It would also suit those individuals newer to PMI and PMBoK who want a detailed view of the CAPM & PMP certification and exam content.

Prerequisites for Exam Access and Certification
For the PMP Certification:
- 7,500 hours leading and directing projects with an AQTF Certificate II (higher school certificate), diploma or the global equivalent) and 35 hours of project management education
OR
- 4,500 hours leading and directing projects with a bachelors degree, and 35 hours of project management education.
For the CAPM Certification:
- 1,500 hours of project experience with an AQTF Certificate II (higher school certificate), diploma or the global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education

All participants receive extensive course materials during the course as a reference, which can be used for examination preparation. There are also opportunities to form study groups with other participants.

Exam Centres and Further Information
The PMP® certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions and you have four hours to complete it.
The CAPM® certification exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours to complete it.
To maintain your PMP® certification, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in project management topics every three years. This course qualifies for PDUs.
To maintain your CAPM® certification, you must retake the exam every five years. This course qualifies for PDUs.
