The Cooperative Contracting model commenced in NSW Government close to 25 years ago, emerging from Partnering, adapting into C21 and progressing into GC21. The contract continues to develop while attracting broader Government interest for the delivery of diverse Construction projects valued between $1m and $1B.Sol Voron explores the contracts unique beginnings to uncover what has become perhaps the current most widely used scalable, adaptable, Government standard form contract adopted across multiple jurisdictions across Australia.
GC21 encapsulates unique relationship development features which has set the tone for practices which have now become relatively standard in many parts of the Construction sector.
