Speaker:
Franco Guarrella is an accomplished engineer whose career in the Oil & Gas sector has evolved from design engineering to various leadership roles, including Project Engineer, Project Manager, Director of Projects, Program and Portfolio Manager, and ultimately Managing Director of Snamprogetti Ltd – a major International Engineering and Construction Company (the main Italian Energy Corporation). He has successfully managed large-scale power, chemical, and petrochemical projects globally, including in China, Egypt, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Malaysia and U.K.
Franco also has a long history with Project Management Institute (PMI). Franco has always been an active volunteer of the PMI, having the distinction of founding the PMI Rome Italy Chapter in 1997 and serving for several years as its President. He has also been Director of Membership for the PMI Northern Italy Chapter. He is the current elected PMI President of the UK Chapter. Additionally, he is a certified PMP #265!
