PMDOK2025 - Project Management Research Summit

The PMDOK2025 Project Management Research Summit aims to continue the tradition of hosting an annual gathering of Australian academics and engaged scholars together with practitioners.

Sponsored by the PMI Sydney Chapter and the School of Project Management at the University of Sydney, the Summit brings together engaged project management professionals with researchers and educators from academia with the shared goal to Develop Our Knowledge.

Following the success of our inaugural (MVP) event in 2022, 2023 and 2024, PMDOK2025 will be a hybrid event held on the 1st October 2025 – Australia-wide on Zoom and physically hosted at the University of Sydney. The summit aims to bring together project managers, leaders, educators, and academics to offer a unique opportunity for the exchange of experience and knowledge.

PMDOK2025 Mission

Join us at PMDOK2025 to strengthen the alliance between academic inquiry and project management practice. We extend a warm invitation to academics and professionals to contribute to a symposium that merges innovative thought with real-world application.
Dive into our dynamic and participatory program, which offers a platform for sharing and evolving ideas through presentations and interactive activities that respect the experience of those attending our Summit. These sessions aim to ignite discussions and blend scholarly research with the latest industry strategies.
PMDOK2025 is not just an event— it's a communal quest to propel our profession forward. Whether joining virtually from across Australia or in person at the University of Sydney, your participation is key to broadening our collective wisdom and redefining project management.
Come, contribute, and co-create as we embark on this path of continuous improvement and knowledge development. Together, we will shape the future of our field.
