Founded in 1969, the Project Management Institute (PMI) delivers value for more than 2.9 million professionals working in nearly every country in the world through global advocacy, collaboration, education and research.
PMI has shone a light on the power of project management and the people behind the projects.
Our mission is to provide Project Professionals and employers with knowledge platforms and resources, career-long learning and development, and gold-standard professional certifications.
Our vision is to be the leading authority and global community for project success, advancing a world where every project— responsibly—delivers maximum value.
We support our members to advance careers, improve organisational success and further mature the project management profession through our globally recognised standards, certifications, resources, tools, academic research, publications, professional development courses and networking opportunities.

About PMI Sydney Australia Chapter
The PMI Sydney Chapter was registered in 1997 and serves the members in the state of New South Wales. The principal activities of the PMI Sydney Chapter during the financial year were to provide the opportunity for our members to network with peers in the profession, increase their professional and personal skills, keep up-to-date with trends in the industry, explore the volunteering experience, contribute to the community, and have a local representation of the global Project Management Institute organisation (pmi.org)
