PMI Sydney's Transformation Series continues in August '18 with a discussion on how and why people sometimes need to go through a personal transformation. A great way to relate this is through Joseph Campbell's "the Hero's Journey"
In respect of transformation projects, company / organisational transformation, these are almost always linked to a bigger picture. The most effective implementations have real engagement or "buy in" from stakeholders. So, how do we best explain transformation, explain the significance of the big picture as well as each step? Through relating our own personal transformation.
Personal transformation also helps bring deeper insight into the emotional experience of everyone involved in the organisational transformation and helps make you better equipped with tools to help others through the transformation, which is often personal for them, even though they do not think of it this way.

James has distilled the essence of great leadership combining his own leadership expertise developed as a Military Officer with leading edge thinking and training and runs Transformational Leadership Development programmes through his coaching and consulting services.
