Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) TWO EVENINGS ACCELERATED EXAM PREPARATION - 6 HOURS Preparing for your PMI-ACP® examination and have limited time to study? Are your weekends too busy? This two x 3 hour evening course prepares you for the PMI-ACP® examination and helps you focus your limited study time. The Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certification sets the standard in agile project management. It spans many approaches to agile such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP), Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), and test-driven development (TDD.) Who should apply? If you have commenced your preparation for the PMI-ACP® exam, this is an ideal course to refresh the concepts and gain exam practice. If you work on agile teams or if your organization is adopting agile practices, the PMI-ACP is a good choice for you. Compared with other agile certifications based solely on training and exams, the PMI-ACP is evidence of your real-world, hands-on experience and skill. PMI's ACP® credential acknowledges your advanced experience and skill of being a professional agile project manager. Recognised and demanded, the PMI-ACP® demonstrates your proven competency in rapid development and delivery techniques to project manage iterative solutions and secure business benefits. This course will be conducted at a relatively fast pace and is not suitable for novices in Agile project management. We recommend the 3 day course for starters in Agile project management

Team Resilience – Creating the next edge in project delivery In recent years resilience has become increasingly important across all industry sectors. There are higher workloads, fewer resources, and changing demands as organizations attempt to adapt to global competitive markets and a rapidly changing technological, political, social, and climatic environment. Many of the changes we have seen in recent years have been transformational with major implications for job roles. When these pressures are combined with the increasing complexity and ‘busyness’ of everyday life, the desired responses move beyond the management of stress to a need for resilience. The new era of work makes resilience a critical attribute. While resilience is now being recognized as an important underpinning of long-term worker health and performance, most focus to date has been at the individual level, with less attention paid to the impact of the groups in which people work. This is despite the fact that most people work in a team, or in multiple teams. Resilient teams are robust enough to manage their role effectively yet agile enough to both respond to, and be the leaders in, change. For performance to be sustained over the longer-term, it means that team challenges need to be managed while preserving, not sacrificing, employee wellbeing. Resilience enables sustainable performance. A number of strategies can be put into place to foster the resilience of teams.
