Biography

Mohammed Alsadeq is an accomplished leader and project management professional with over a decade of experience spanning corporate and academic sectors. He is a dedicated lifelong learner, holding a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Florida A&M University in the United States of America, where he graduated with the highest GPA in the program, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Faisal University. 

Currently, Mohammed is focused on advancing project management excellence and social impact. He serves as an Associate Director at the Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) for the PMI Sydney Chapter, where he oversees event logistics, manages key partnerships, and guides project managers in delivering high-impact solutions for not-for-profit organisations. Mohammed's deep involvement with the chapter began in May 2024 as a Project Manager. Demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and cutting-edge knowledge, Mohammed is preparing to earn the PMP certification by the end of the year. Furthermore, he will commence a second master's degree in Master of Commerce at UNSW in June 2026, specialising in Risk Management, and Sustainability and Social Impact. 

Prior to his work with the PMI Sydney Chapter, Mohammed held significant leadership roles, including Head of Department for Individuals and Societies at an International Baccalaureate school, where he collaborated with school leadership to develop goals, led innovative curriculum development, and built collaborative teams. Mohammed's career also includes industrial experience as an Account Manager improving business relations with multinational companies, and a Process Control Leader at Saudi Aramco, where he ensured project completion, maintained job safety, and upgraded industrial equipment. 

Mohammed's diverse background is unified by exceptional leadership, communication skills, and a proven ability to align project execution with organisational vision. His commitment to community service is exceptional, evidenced by his nomination as a Finalist for the 2024 Volunteer of the Year Award at the PMI Sydney Chapter. He has also been a prolific volunteer, previously serving as a co-founder of the Saudi Student Club at Florida A&M University, a mentor at the PE-STEM Academy, and an interpreter for the International Rescue Committee.

Election Statement

It is with honour and great enthusiasm that I submit my candidacy for a position on the PMI Sydney Chapter Board of Directors. As a current Associate Director of Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) Portfolio, I have already demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering tangible, high-impact value to our community and external stakeholders. I seek to build on this foundation by bringing a strategic, forward-thinking perspective to the Board. 

My vision for the Chapter rests on three pillars: 

  • Future-Proofing Project Management: I will champion initiatives focused on emerging global trends. Leveraging my upcoming Master of Commerce specialisations in Risk Management, Sustainability and Social Impact, I aim to integrate these critical concepts into our professional development offerings, ensuring our members remain at the forefront of industry demand. 
  • Strengthening Global Bridges: Drawing on my decade of leadership across industrial, academic, and corporate sectors in both the Australian and Saudi markets, I will actively foster a strategic partnership between PMI Sydney Chapter and chapters like PMI-KSA. This collaboration will facilitate invaluable knowledge sharing, cross-cultural networking, and career opportunities for all members. 
  • Empowering Member Success: With a proven track record of coordinating high-level projects and developing innovative curricula, I am committed to optimising our chapter’s framework to enhance volunteer engagement, mentorship programs, and PMP certification support. 

I am ready to use my proven track record of leadership and continuous learning to responsibly advance the Chapter's mission and maximise value for every project professional. I look forward to earning your support.
